The deposit is normally refunded to your bank account one month after the end of the rental agreement. If damage has been caused by the tenant to the rented property, it must first be determined what the costs are for repairing this damage; in some cases, a refund may take longer. When and how quickly your landlord must pay back the deposit is not legally defined.
